Welcome to AFCEA CeVA!
The AFCEA Central Virginia (CeVA) Chapter is a professional non-profit 501(c)(6) organization serving the Greater Charlottesville, Richmond, and surrounding areas in Virginia.
The AFCEA CeVA chapter serves the defense and intelligence industries in the Greater Charlottesville area to include several local large and small businesses, the Defense Intelligence Agency, National Ground Intelligence Center, National Geospatial Intelligence Center, and US Army. The chapter has quarterly luncheons with speakers such as senior executives in the DIA, NGIC, and Army INSCOM; and speakers from academia and industry related to cyber, biometrics, ISR, data science, big data, and
any current threats or capability.
The chapter spotlights local small businesses at luncheons, providing more
visibility to the small businesses in our area. STEM Teaching grants are also
awarded by the chapter to local teachers, as are scholarships to women
and minorities in STEM-related fields.
